I honestly feel like education is important... The more educated you are, the better you look in society. That's just my opinion though...
I stopped going to school when I was 16 due to personal reasons, I was going to be homeschooled again... My grandmother ended up passing away, and my family moved to Texas... I wanted to go, but didn't... I wanted to stay with Randy, and I'm honestly terrified of change. Any changes.
When my daughter starts school, I'm determined to go back and get either my high school diploma, or my G.E.D! I'd rather have my high school diploma, I don't remember much about what went on in school, and I suck at math...
Anyway, after I get one or the other I'm going to start college. I've been thinking about careers, and I think I've decided that I want to be a pediatric nurse. I love children, and to help them in to the world, help them with the first few days of their life or more, and to be nice and actually be there for the mothers giving birth would be awesome...
When I was in the hospital after having my daughter, I was so amazed by one nurse who was there for me, and super nice the whole time... and she was amazing with Hailey, I actually trusted her with my little bug, long enough to rest...
That's her back there...
Now, there was another nurse, who was terrible... She waited 5 hours before calling my doctor or the anesthesiologist to fix my epidural, she kept telling us that she called him and he was on his way, but she never left the room... and she kept putting pitocin (sp?) in my IV, even though my contractions were lasting 15 minutes or longer at a time, my epi. was out, and she acted like it was a big deal when the doctor told me I was going to have a csection. I was in pain, screw her.
Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble once again...
Bottom line, I think education is important to get where and what you want in life.
